Clearwater wilderness area

In the morning David crawled under the bus to figure out what was wrong, why the bus was knocking. It turned out that the valves needed adjusting - one of them was too tight and one was too loose. This was a relief - it was not a big problem. While he was adjusting valves I sat and read and observed the ground squirrels who were really interested in our dirty dishes.

For  some reason some small brown butterflies and a lot of bees/wasps/yellowjackets were really attracted to the bus. There was a bunch of them flowing around at any given moment. Maybe it was because the bus is yellow and looks like a giant flower?
During the day we went and drove a bit around. For a little while it rained really heavily. But then it stopped. We drove to next inhabited point, which was a lodge, to get gas. On the way back we passed a trailhead that lead to hot springs [kuumaveeallikad]. Since I had not ever seen one we walked the little trail. The hot springs were just holes in the ground where warm water was coming out. There were some people sitting in these warm puddles. So we followed their example and sat in the water for a while. There are some pictures of that as well but they are on film and will appear here some time in the distant future.
