The next morning David woke up happy as a bear :)
Pretty soon after that we went to the beach and started building a
castle. When we were almost done David went back to the car and got
camera and swimming suits for both of us so that we could wash off the
sand and cool down in the lake.

This is the castle we built. It had a moat all around it so that it was
kind of like on an island. |

The water was not too warm so it took David a long time to get in. I
got in first but I swam at about knee-deep water because any further
it was unbearably cold. To finish it off we ran chasing each other in
the water and later on the sand to get warm and dry off. Over all it
was a nice beach vacation. When we were done with playing on the beach
we had to pack our things because it was almost 3 o´clock and
that meant checkout time (or rather vacating the campsite time).

Somehow it had happened that we still hadn´t eaten that day so we
drove to a parking lot inside the state park. There we had a nice
breakfast of cereal and some sandwiches.
After that we just emptied our graywater tank (the water that we have
used in the sink goes into this small tank) and off we were..

That day we decided that we would not go to the Door County after all.
The main reason behind this decision was that our bank account was
suffering some losses and so we turned the nose of the bus towards the
south and started heading back towards home. Our plan was to go to the
state of Illinois, visit Chicago and then turn back west going through
Kansas, then to Colorado, to Mesa Verde National park, then to Utah to
visit the Arches National park and then towards California and then
back up to Seattle along the coastline.

<-- Originally we had hoped to stop at this state park right on the
beach but the campsite was full so we drove on until we got to a
different state park and enjoyed a nice sunset on a lake there.
