In the morning I called several mechanics. The earliest anybody could look at our valve problem was Wednesday, two days away. We decided to tough it out in the heat for a full day and then get a hotel (with air conditioning!) that would be near the mechanic the next day so we could get the bus in early on Wednesday morning. It was hot and humid, and there was no swimming at the park we were staying at. We were not in the mood for taking pictures.
